Academic Track (Grades 7–10)

$2,100.00

The Academic Track supports students as writing expectations deepen and become more complex. Personalized coaching helps students strengthen clarity, structure, and thinking—while developing independence and confidence as academic writers. Instruction blends mentoring with targeted support in analytical writing, clear argumentation, evidence use, and revision.

Support for Both Developing and Advanced Writers
This track is intentionally built to support a wide range of learners. Developing writers receive structured, confidence-building guidance in foundational essay skills, organization, and clarity. Advanced or high-achieving students can move into deeper analysis, sophisticated argumentation, multi-source synthesis, and early AP/IB-style thinking. Because instruction is individualized, students remain in this track whether they need added support or accelerated challenge—ensuring rigor without overwhelm.

Focus areas include:

  • Weekly 60-75-minute coaching (8 weeks)

  • Essay structure, clarity, argumentation, and evidence

  • Multi-paragraph organization and revision

  • Ethical and effective AI-supported writing

  • Developing a confident academic voice

  • Mini-portfolio of 2 polished academic pieces

Families may begin with one 8-week cycle; many continue for additional cycles to build fluency, mastery, and independence over time. At the start of each new cycle, we do a short check-in to reassess goals and ensure the next phase of coaching meets your student’s current needs.
