Foundations Track (Grades 3–6)
The Foundations Track gives developing writers the structure, confidence, and clarity they need to communicate their ideas. Through personalized mentoring and grade-appropriate skill development, students learn how to organize their thoughts, strengthen sentences, and build the beginnings of strong paragraphs—all without overwhelm. Instruction is warm, supportive, and paced to meet the child where they are.
Support for Gifted & Advanced Writers
This track also supports gifted or advanced elementary writers who are ready for deeper enrichment. Because coaching is individualized, advanced students can move far beyond foundational skills into early analysis, extended paragraph work, expanded vocabulary, and creative voice development—while still working within a developmentally appropriate framework for their age. Advanced students remain in the Foundations Track but receive enriched, accelerated instruction tailored to their readiness and interests.
Focus areas may include:
Weekly 60-minute coaching (8 weeks)
Sentence fluency and early paragraph structure
Idea development, clarity, and organization
Writing stamina and confidence building
Revision strategies appropriate to grade level
Optional introduction to ethical AI-supported writing
Families may begin with one 8-week cycle; many continue for additional cycles to build fluency, mastery, and independence over time. At the start of each new cycle, we do a short check-in to reassess goals and ensure the next phase of coaching meets your student’s current needs.
